Hay Fever & Irritation
Hay fever is a common allergy in Australia, especially during the spring season. If you have ongoing allergies, Hay fever might weaken your immune system.
When your immune system is deteriorating, in some cases, clients who have had eyelash extensions for months or over a long period, even though they have not experienced any problems before, may find their eyes much more susceptible to sensitivity. Possible reactions or irritations to your lash products may also occur. Additionally, ongoing allergies can dramatically change or lower your immune system, resulting in higher severity of hay fever’s symptoms and side effects.
There are some common symptoms including eye discomfort, swollen eyes, and fluffy eyes. In such circumstances, please consult your lash technicians to see if you have to get them removed ASAP.
Hay Fever & Retention
There are different kinds of hay fever. Some can heavily affect your eyes, while others irritate your nose or throat. Those who suffer from watery and puffy eyes may experience poorer lash retention. In fact, over the first three days after your lash extensions, the adhesive has not been completely set. During that time, the bond of your lash extensions is not strong enough; any penetration of make-up products or excess amount of water from your allergic eyes might result in poor retention.
The efficiency of the adhesive may have been affected by watery eyes and the adhesive may not be able to work properly. Other than that, retention could be affected if clients frequently use oily eye drops to treat their hay fever condition.
